About the Role
This position aims to elevate FENDI’s presence across Southeast Asia through strategic marketing and communication efforts, particularly emphasizing high-impact events. The role involves collaborating on PR, media relations, and multi-departmental brand initiatives to ensure uniformity with global branding while fulfilling local commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and implement marketing campaigns across Southeast Asia in alignment with brand goals and regional priorities.
- Develop event proposals, strategic marketing plans, and budget forecasts focused on event-centered strategies.
- Oversee marketing budgets for projects, ensuring efficient resource use and cost control.
- Collaborate with merchandising, retail, visual merchandising, and omnichannel teams for unified campaign execution.
- Track and analyze competitors’ marketing activities, offering market insights for future planning.
- Establish and nurture connections with press, media, key opinion leaders (KOLs), celebrities, and other stakeholders to maximize event exposure.
- Support the creation and implementation of PR and KOL campaigns to boost brand storytelling, integrating these with event narratives.
- Manage engagement with KOLs and celebrities, including coordinating appearances, seeding, and follow-ups.
- Negotiate and implement media partnerships to strengthen event promotions and post-event media exposure.
- Handle PR inventory and sample acquisitions to ensure timely event support.
- Coordinate closely with headquarters marketing for campaign updates, reports, and alignment on regional communication strategies.
- Contribute to the ideation, organization, and execution of product launches, exclusive PR events, client activations, and immersive in-store experiences aligned with brand standards and business aims.
- Manage full event lifecycle including vendor selection, contract negotiations, logistics, scheduling, and onsite coordination.
- Prepare detailed event schedules, budgets, and project plans to guarantee timely and successful event delivery.
- Communicate with internal teams, external vendors, agencies, and venues to ensure smooth event execution.
- Perform post-event evaluations, assessing ROI, participant feedback, media coverage, and budget adherence to refine future events.
Candidate Profile
- Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Business, or associated fields.
- A solid track record of 3 to 5 years in marketing and communications, emphasizing luxury event planning and management.
- Previous exposure to luxury retail or high-end lifestyle brands is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of integrated marketing communications, public relations, media planning, with special focus on organizing large-scale events.
- Capable of juggling multiple projects efficiently in dynamic work settings.
- Self-driven with strong personal accountability.
- Innovative and solution-focused with a talent for crafting impressive brand experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing various stakeholders professionally.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for budgeting/tracking and PowerPoint for presentations and reports.
