Senior Specialist - Accounts Payable

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is inviting applications for the position of Senior Specialist - Accounts Payable to join their finance division. The chosen candidate will play an essential part in ensuring smooth and efficient accounts payable operations that support the organization's fiscal stability. This position involves leading the accounts payable functions with a focus on precise and prompt invoicing and payment processing while maintaining excellent relationships with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the accounts payable team to guarantee accurate and timely invoice and payment processing.
• Review and authorize vendor invoices in line with corporate policies and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or payment-related concerns.
• Maintain updated and precise vendor records within the accounting system.
• Perform frequent audits on accounts payable transactions to ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Support the month-end and year-end accounting closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Generate reports and conduct analysis of accounts payable data to uncover trends and potential process enhancements.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting accounts payable management.

Applicant Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in accounts payable, finance, or similar functions.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounts payable workflows, internal control mechanisms, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency using accounting software alongside Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in Excel.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with robust analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments efficiently within a dynamic work environment.
