Position Summary
The role of Financial Analyst - Marketing & Operations, based in Hebbal, Bengaluru, involves managing the financial and administrative functions of the Marketing department's annual budget with a focus on purchase order oversight, vendor management, invoice processing, and spending transparency. This role supports maintaining the financial integrity and governance of marketing expenditures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, administer, and monitor purchase orders for the Marketing department aligned with the yearly budget.
- Track budget distributions, commitments, and remaining funds ensuring adherence to policies.
- Maintain a centralized database of marketing vendors and oversee invoice accuracy and timely payments, collaborating with Accounts Payable.
- Facilitate vendor onboarding and documentation management processes.
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions related to marketing, validating expenses against budgets and purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
- Investigate marketing transactions within the company for correct coding and work with other departments on cost classification and reclassification efforts.
- Promote transparency in marketing-related expenditures across the enterprise.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to identify trends, irregularities, and propose improvements to financial controls and processes within Marketing.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management, process administration, or related finance operational roles.
- Proven expertise with purchase order systems, invoice verification, and expense reconciliation.
- Experience handling budget management and building vendor relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with strong analytical abilities.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration skills and the capability to influence teams without formal authority.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken.
Additional Information
Work Hours: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST with transportation provided. Location: Hebbal, Bengaluru.
