Role overview
The Senior SME Solutions Specialist will focus on expanding business with small and medium enterprise clients by uncovering their operational challenges, shaping suitable solution proposals, and demonstrating measurable business impact. The position owns the end-to-end sales journey, from sourcing prospects and building relationships through proposal creation, negotiations, and contract closure, while helping grow revenue and the SME customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, networking activities, and participation in industry events to maintain a healthy sales funnel.
- Hold discovery discussions with potential clients to understand their business requirements and match them with the most relevant offerings.
- Conduct persuasive product demos and senior-level presentations that clearly convey the company’s value proposition.
- Keep CRM records current and accurate so reporting and pipeline visibility remain reliable.
- Work with Customer Success teams to uncover opportunities for expansion sales, including upselling and cross-selling within the existing client portfolio.
- Prepare tailored commercial and technical proposals that align with client expectations and internal standards.
- Manage negotiations and client follow-ups to close deals and complete the necessary documentation on time.
- Research market trends, industry movements, and emerging opportunities to support targeting and growth decisions.
- Compile and present periodic sales performance updates aligned with business goals.
- Stay informed about product updates and new offerings through ongoing learning and training.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, HR solutions, or enterprise software sold to SMEs.
- A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and independently handling complete sales cycles.
- Strong consultative selling ability, with the skill to uncover complex needs and convert them into practical solution recommendations.
- Experience delivering product demonstrations and presenting to mid- and senior-level decision-makers.
- Hands-on proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, target-oriented setting across multiple markets; experience in KSA and Jordan is an advantage.
- Preferred exposure to HR technology or ERP products, along with familiarity with SME dynamics in the GCC region.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The position requires active engagement with clients, regular coordination with internal teams, and continuous professional development to remain current on product and market changes.
Preferred competencies
- Background in HR tech or ERP solution selling.
- Understanding of SME purchasing behavior and business needs in the GCC.
- Arabic and English fluency for both written and spoken communication.
