Senior SAP Service Delivery Manager

Role Summary

This position is for an experienced Senior Service Delivery Manager focused on SAP ERP support. The role is based across Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad, and calls for a leader who can run large teams, maintain service quality, and support enterprise ERP operations at scale.

What You’ll Do

You will take ownership of SAP ERP support delivery across multiple business functions and work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. The role also includes steering large programs, managing improvements, and keeping service outcomes aligned with business expectations.

• Lead a distributed team of more than 200 professionals and promote accountability, teamwork, and strong performance.
• Balance staffing and workload to keep delivery efficient across geographies.
• Manage end-to-end SAP ERP support across modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, HR, and related areas.
• Track service levels, key performance indicators, and compliance obligations.
• Oversee incident handling, problem resolution, and change control workflows.
• Serve as the main contact for customers and senior business stakeholders.
• Share service updates, performance insights, and practical recommendations on a regular basis.
• Ensure support services stay aligned with changing business requirements.
• Handle large ERP support programs and transformation work.
• Coordinate upgrades, enhancements, and migration efforts, including SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
• Deliver work within agreed timelines, budget, and scope.
• Find and implement ways to improve processes and increase automation.
• Adopt proven practices to strengthen ERP support and service delivery.
• Introduce ideas that improve efficiency and reduce system downtime.

Experience and Technical Requirements

The role requires deep SAP service delivery experience and the confidence to manage complex, multi-module environments. Candidates should bring extensive IT leadership exposure along with hands-on understanding of ERP support operations.

• At least 20 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP ERP service delivery.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams of 200+ people in complex ERP settings.
• Strong command over SAP ERP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, HR, and similar areas.
• Working knowledge of SAP Basis, Solution Manager, and monitoring tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams spread across global locations.
