Role Overview

In this position, you will serve as a key operational partner to the Director of Account Management and the wider Sales organization, while also working with customer contacts. The role centers on sales administration, CRM and data handling, bid and tender coordination, and keeping communication moving smoothly between teams.

Key Duties

  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Director of Account Management.
  • Arrange meetings and appointments across the business, including interviews, sales discussions, and customer sessions.
  • Track tasks and deliverables for key projects, follow up on overdue items, and escalate delays or issues to leadership when needed.
  • Identify process gaps between teams and help develop improved SOPs with relevant stakeholders.
  • Review Salesforce pipelines and prepare summaries of key sales activity for the Director of Sales.
  • Carry out research tasks outside routine sales work as needed.
  • Handle executive calendar and email management, plus coordination and planning for commercial and sales events that may involve site research and vendor evaluation.
  • Support the sales team with data entry, including customer details and feedback.
  • Assist with reporting, team communication, and delegation of work across the sales function.
  • Organize and support national sales meetings.
  • Maintain the sales schedule for RFPs so key deadlines are visible and marketing is kept informed.
  • Lead a weekly check-in with the sales team to prioritize open requests and ensure items are properly logged in the tracking system, including Salesforce Opportunities and Cases.

Experience and Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in B2B sales or sales support.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Comfort working in a busy, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Solid data handling ability, including Excel, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to build, refine, and maintain administrative processes.
  • Self-directed approach with the confidence to work independently.
