Job description
Role Overview
The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is seeking an experienced Senior Research and Information Projects Officer to join their Research Support team based in Darwin. This role plays a key part in delivering specialised information services and expert guidance to staff involved in agriculture, fisheries, biosecurity research, development, and extension, as well as industry partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the provision of current awareness alerts to support research activities.
- Carry out original cataloguing and acquisitions to maintain accurate library records.
- Oversee departmental publications and contribute to web content management.
- Administer relevant databases to ensure up-to-date and accessible information.
- Supervise daily operations of the Berrimah Library service with administration accountability.
Additional Details
The position reports to the Manager of Research and Information Projects at the Arid Zone Research Institute in Alice Springs. It offers a comprehensive remuneration package reflecting the Administrative Officer level 5.

Compensation
