Senior Relationship Manager, Public Sector Relations

Role Overview

This position is responsible for developing, strengthening, and sustaining relationships with both existing and prospective clients. The role manages a portfolio of accounts with the aim of expanding wallet share while carefully controlling credit exposure.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the work of team members within the assigned area so activities are completed efficiently and in line with internal policies and procedures.
• Coach subordinates through day-to-day guidance and constructive feedback to help them grow professionally.
• Take ownership of the profitability and balance sheet performance of the assigned client portfolio, and work toward or beyond set business and individual targets.
• Increase the bank’s market share across deposits, low-cost or no-cost funds such as current and call accounts, investments, trade finance, and other banking products within the targeted industry segment.
• Identify potential clients using referrals and market insight, then convert opportunities into new business.
• Drive cross-selling across the client base and actively promote newly launched products and services to existing customers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a business-related discipline.
• Applicants should have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.
