About The Team
Monee, a fintech division within Sea Group, offers financial services such as payments, lending, and digital banking. The Strategic Planning & Analytics (SP&A) team spearheads significant strategic projects spanning these financial sectors whilst aiding leadership with performance assessments and preparing for critical meetings. The team prioritizes delivering value beyond everyday tasks, utilizing cross-functional approaches and grounded strategic thinking.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable individual contributor for the fintech SP&A team. The role involves leading analytical aspects of major strategic initiatives and providing data-driven business analysis to support the Group President. This position suits candidates enthusiastic about fintech, intellectually driven, and adaptive to fast-paced, high-impact environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead essential workstreams including financial and lending performance evaluations, customer segmentation, and market sizing studies.
- Develop financial models and forecasting mechanisms that back novel fintech ventures and business proposals.
- Conduct in-depth external market research along with competitor benchmarking within payments, lending, and digital finance sectors.
- Convert complex datasets into meaningful strategic insights and clearly present findings to executive-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate extensively with product, risk management, operations, marketing, and finance teams to align strategies.
- Prepare presentation materials for high-level meetings such as board sessions and business reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline.
- At least 12 months of full-time professional experience in a leading strategy consulting firm.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using both quantitative and qualitative analysis, paired with a strong curiosity to explore root causes thoroughly.
- Adaptability to ambiguity and fast-changing conditions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, including project management skills, or a strong motivation to cultivate these competencies in an evolving work environment.
