Senior Project Engineer (Viaduct & Tunnel Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer specializing in viaduct and tunnel projects to support our site operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of large-scale civil engineering works by coordinating site activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and leading supervision teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Principal Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Project Manager with daily contract management tasks, ensuring timely and efficient site operations.
• Provide expert advice on quality and safety matters, promptly identifying and documenting any issues of non-conformance in project execution.
• Work collaboratively with contractors to resolve and record quality or compliance issues, ensuring effective communication and timelines are met.
• Oversee adherence to construction specifications, drawings, and programme schedules while upholding rigorous standards for safety and quality.
• Monitor and manage the installation and performance of instrumentation and related monitoring procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor supervisors to guarantee continuous, on-site oversight of all active site works.
• Offer ongoing feedback and recommend measures for quality improvement directly to project management.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisors or clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a recognized degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
• At least 5 years' established experience in project or construction environments.
• Minimum of 2 years involvement with viaduct and/or flyover construction works.
• Demonstrated proficiency in key planning and engineering software applications commonly used in the field.
• Strong analytical abilities with effective communication and teamwork skills.
