Job description
Role overview
Included Health is hiring a strategic, analytical, and creative Senior Product Marketing Manager to shape the company’s core product story and help unlock major growth opportunities across the Health Plan and Public Sector segments. The role is designed to improve win rates and speed up pipeline movement by supporting high-value pursuits from the earliest conversations through pitch, proposal, and close.
This position sits inside the Pursuits Studio model, where Product Marketing acts as both storyteller and co-strategist on complex opportunities. You will help define base messaging and build sales materials for Virtual Primary Care, Urgent Care, Behavioral Health, and Expert Medical Opinion, while also serving as the marketing lead on strategic pursuits. In that capacity, you will create the marketing plan, coordinate cross-functional contributors, and guide the development of customized assets that strengthen differentiation and improve deal velocity.
You will work closely with Sales RVPs, who own the overall vision and strategic direction for each pursuit.
What you will do
- Turn complex product capabilities into clear, persuasive, evidence-backed stories and polished sales collateral that supports conversion across the sales funnel.
- Adapt product narratives, assets, and channel approach for different buyer groups and segment needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams through fast-paced, high-stakes opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Client, Analytics, Product, Solutions Consulting, Consultant Relations, Clinical, and Marketing teams to support growth priorities.
- Build foundational messaging and positioning grounded in market knowledge and customer insight.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Health Plan and Public Sector landscape, including buyer behavior, competitor messaging, procurement factors, and proof points specific to each segment.
- Translate product capabilities and performance data into concise base narratives and pitch materials for senior stakeholders and buying committees.
- Customize the company story for public sector audiences, where accountability, transparency, peer validation, and defensible financial outcomes matter most.
- Customize the company story for health plan audiences, where access, member experience, integration, pricing, strategic fit, and measurable financial value are critical.
- Work with analytics and actuarial partners to develop pre-sale analytics tools and workflows that help create strong, data-driven business cases.
- Own the positioning plan that converts core narratives into tailored sales assets aligned to buyer priorities and likely objections.
- Define the narrative approach, core messages, deliverables, milestones, and stakeholder alignment needed to move deals through each stage of the sales cycle.
- Lead the creation of tailored pursuit materials such as executive summaries, sales decks, one-pagers, proposal content, and other custom assets.
- Partner with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Analytics, the Client Org, Product, Clinical, and Proposal teams to shape a unified story supported by relevant market and competitive insights.
- Support account-based marketing efforts, custom demos, proof points, and data-led analyses that validate need and reinforce differentiation in competitive pursuits.
- Act as the main marketing lead inside cross-functional pursuit pods across multiple simultaneous opportunities.
- Keep timelines, owners, dependencies, and deliverables organized while coordinating broader marketing and creative support as needed.
- Help improve repeatable pursuit processes, templates, and content methods so custom support becomes more scalable over time.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product marketing experience, including meaningful exposure to sales enablement, strategic pursuits, go-to-market work, or support for complex B2B deals.
- Demonstrated skill in creating messaging, positioning, and market-facing assets that combine strong storytelling, visual clarity, and persuasive data.
- Experience producing pitch decks, executive summaries, and similar sales enablement materials.
- Comfort working across functions and delivering in fast-moving environments with many stakeholders and shifting priorities.
- Strong relationship-building skills across sales, product, analytics, and partner teams.
- Advanced analytical ability to interpret complex information, identify key insights, and convert them into commercial narratives.
- Experience using AI to improve marketing or sales content and streamline workflows.
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and/or Microsoft Suite tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex ideas clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle several priorities without reducing quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Preferred background in healthcare, digital health, health plans, public sector work, or employer benefits.
- Familiarity with buying processes in public sector and health plan environments, including committee-based decisions, consultant influence, procurement rigor, and the need for documented value narratives.
- Experience supporting highly customized sales pursuits with multiple workstreams, executive stakeholders, and tailored proof points or demos.
