Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of Acorns' family investing products, guiding how families discover, adopt, and grow with these tools. Your focus will be on creating natural, engaging experiences for parents, teens, and children to build lasting wealth habits starting early in life. You will collaborate with leadership to prioritize and align key initiatives and drive the vision for these products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the roadmap for family investing products from initial awareness through sustained adoption.
- Design novel consumer experiences that introduce millions of children to investing before adulthood.
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to create products that delight customers.
- Leverage customer insights, research, and data analysis to identify unmet needs and inform product direction.
- Balance long-term strategic vision with agile experimentation and decision-making.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences efficiently.
- Embed Acorns’ mission into every product choice, focusing on customer financial well-being.
- Craft strategies aligning business objectives with customer incentives, prioritizing sustainable long-term value.
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of product management experience with a focus on exceptional consumer products.
- Proven success leading zero-to-one or ambiguous product initiatives.
- Strong intuition for products, analytical skills, and customer empathy.
- Experience building products that encourage engagement, habit formation, or long-term loyalty.
- Excellent leadership and communication capabilities across teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a behavior-driven approach encouraging innovation.
- Passionate alignment with Acorns’ mission and vision to impact family futures positively.
- Bonus: Experience with onboarding, user activation, growth strategies, marketplaces, creator tools, social products, or network effects.
- Bonus: Familiarity with AI tools to enhance workflow or AI-powered customer features.

Additional Information
The pay scale at hiring ranges between $174,800 and $205,700 annually, varying based on location, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include equity awards and bonus payments, alongside a comprehensive benefits package with medical plans, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave. Employment is "at-will," allowing the company to adjust salary or bonuses based on performance or market factors. Acorns uses the E-Verify system to confirm employment eligibility for new hires.
