About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Brand Marketing Manager who will play a vital role in advancing and expanding the Acorns and Acorns Early brands during an exciting period of growth. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, perfect for a social media savvy storyteller passionate about shaping culture and driving financial well-being for millions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated brand marketing campaigns with a content-first approach across diverse channels including social media, digital platforms, in-app experiences, PR, partnerships, experiential events, and influencer outreach.
  • Create compelling brand positioning, craft creative briefs, and design marketing plans that link cultural trends and moments directly with Acorns' core mission.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of campaigns from ideation to execution and post-launch optimization, ensuring meticulous delivery and impact measurement.
  • Integrate emerging AI technologies to enhance creative workflows, accelerate content production, elevate campaign agility, and explore innovative storytelling methods.
  • Effectively coordinate with external agencies, creators, and internal teams, serving as a trusted Brand Marketing representative while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Drive comprehensive creator and influencer marketing strategies focused on awareness building through to conversion and demand generation.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • 6 to 9 years of proven experience in brand marketing, social media strategy, branded content development, or influencer/creator program management.
  • Demonstrated success in launching multi-channel, social-first integrated campaigns built from the ground up.
  • Sharp strategic insight with a deep understanding of internet culture, social media trends, and community engagement.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally with creative, legal, compliance teams, and managing agency partnerships.
  • Passion for developing innovative products and campaigns that positively impact families’ financial wellness.
  • Exceptional organizational ability, with strong project management skills to prioritize effectively under tight deadlines and work within contract and compliance frameworks.
  • Keen interest and hands-on experience applying generative AI tools across creative processes to enhance output and speed.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to guide strategy and measure campaign performance.
  • A commitment to meaningful work tied to personal mission and an optimistic view of societal change potential.

Compensation Details

The starting salary range for this position is expected to be between $142,000 and $155,000 annually, subject to individual factors such as market, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include equity grants and discretionary bonuses. Benefits cover healthcare, financial plans including 401(k), paid leaves, and more. Employment is at-will, and the company may adjust compensation based on performance or market conditions.
