Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager will helm the ELM (Enterprise Legal Management) Practice Management product aimed at corporate legal departments, focusing on non-financial management aspects such as collaboration, matter management, and automation. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this leadership role involves creating and executing strategic product roadmaps, overseeing major AI and product innovations, and nurturing the product’s growth from an emerging concept to an industry-leading platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and evolve the product vision and roadmap for ELM Practice Management to achieve long-term organizational goals.
- Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to ensure smooth progress through development cycles.
- Develop strong relationships with flagship corporate legal clients to identify pain points and unmet needs.
- Lead the building and scaling of vital product features like Legal Service Requests, RFP & Vendor Selection tools, and matter management tailored for corporate legal functions.
- Engage cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering to harmonize go-to-market strategies and product delivery.
- Create detailed Business Requirement Documents and precise development tickets to ensure clear communication and execution.
- Utilize AI tools actively to enhance product lifecycle management and streamline documentation processes.
- Communicate progress and obtain executive buy-in at leadership levels.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5-7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, legal technology, or enterprise legal management is highly desirable.
- Strong proactive growth mindset, capable of navigating ambiguity and taking ownership to scale new product initiatives.
- Excellent client interaction skills to gather deep insights and translate feedback into actionable product features.
- Proficiency with product and technical tools such as Jira and AI platforms like Claude.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation capability with executive stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a robust analytical approach to defining comprehensive requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Solid understanding and application of Agile methodologies.
Compensation Details
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $190,000 annually, supplemented by potential bonuses and benefits. Salary decisions consider qualifications, experience, skill sets, and internal equity. The company remains flexible regarding candidate profiles and will communicate final compensation based on individual factors.
