Job description

About the Product

The wholesale jewellery sector relies heavily on relationships and intricate operational processes; however, much of the current software supporting it is outdated. Our client is revolutionizing this space through a cutting-edge ERP platform tailored specifically for wholesale jewellery businesses.

This industry is relationship-focused and complex, with most available software significantly behind the times. As a Senior Product Manager, you will craft exceptional product experiences that optimize customer workflows encompassing order and inventory management, invoicing, and payments. You'll collaborate directly with the CEO, steering the launch of the platform's next major version—integrating AI, automation, and user-centric design innovations. Close partnerships with design and engineering teams will be key to redefining what customers across North America can achieve.

Company Overview

  • Small software holding company of approximately 50 employees, financially stable and growing steadily.
  • Operates multiple niche products, with each managed by roughly 10-person teams, offering a blend of startup energy, cross-team learning, and long-term stability.
  • Join a community of talented Product Managers in the Toronto/Montreal region through informal and collaborative engagements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Direct the roadmap discovery and execution for the current product's "version 1", which has a decade of market presence with 300+ customers and high satisfaction scores.
  • Plan and scope the reconstruction of "version 2" with a focus on AI-first, contemporary workflows.
  • Develop and oversee internal operational workflows involving AI agents, enhancing efficacy in customer support, sales, and engineering teams to increase customer value.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years product management experience, including exposure to modern ERP solutions and at least 2 years in leadership roles.
  • Entrepreneurial drive demonstrated by building and launching B2B products.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire team excellence and foster empathy.
  • Proficiency with AI-driven prototyping and daily problem-solving.
  • Strong skills in copywriting and design sensibility.
  • Historically regarded as proactive, highly organized, and an outstanding communicator by peers.

Qualities and Work Ethic

  • Communicates early and clearly to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Motivated to drive initiatives fully from conception through completion.
  • Believes in the power of collaboration to surface the best ideas and inspires participation.
  • Committed to creating streamlined, elegant product experiences by simplifying complex processes.
  • Views AI and automation as central to future innovation in product development.

Values and Benefits

  • Enjoys the flexibility that remote work arrangements provide.
  • Thrives when entrusted with autonomy to lead significant projects.
  • Values collaboration with high-performing, customer-focused colleagues.
  • Appreciates ongoing learning opportunities from a swift and knowledgeable leadership team.
