Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the Customer Platform team, which is central to the Kota experience where employers and employees engage with our health, pension, and insurance services. This is a pivotal role at an exciting time as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design efforts on key web product areas from concept through to release.
Clarify ambiguous product challenges into effective flows, interfaces, and interaction models.
Enhance overall design quality by offering critiques and collaborating thoughtfully.
Use AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code to prototype and improve interfaces.
Design and promote reusable components and patterns to increase consistency and speed across the Platform.
Collaborate closely with engineering to scope, design, iterate, and ship at a rapid pace.
Influence product strategy and help cultivate our design culture beyond feature delivery.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a product designer handling complex, often B2B or fintech, information-dense systems.
Strong end-to-end design thinking with ownership from system-level concepts to fine interaction details.
Ability to balance rapid iteration with attention to detail, knowing when to prioritize speed versus polish.
Experience building and scaling design systems and reusable components.
Self-driven with a proactive mindset, capable of working autonomously without close supervision.
Comfortable adopting AI-powered design tools even without coding expertise.
A portfolio demonstrating excellent product insight, interaction design, and higher-level craftmanship.
