Role Overview

As a Senior Product Analyst within the Datascape team, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Product Leads, Engineers, and QA teams to elicit requirements and design customer-focused solutions. This role involves deep analytical work across teams to support the rollout of innovative features to local government clients in Australia and New Zealand. The team is currently experiencing rapid growth, offering a dynamic and fulfilling work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and deliver comprehensive business, product, and technical analysis documentation and artifacts of high quality.
• Engage actively in customer and partner research, ideation, and innovation initiatives.
• Support product and engineering design efforts through detailed analysis.
• Assist the Product Manager in prioritizing roadmaps and backlogs using value delivery, risk assessments, impact mapping, and dependency evaluation.
• Collaborate with Tech and UX Leads to shape the overall solution architecture and segment work for sprint deliveries.
• Ensure the delivery team comprehends the problem domain, eliciting and clarifying requirements into valuable backlog items communicated effectively.
• Partner with engineering teams to produce accurate time estimations for development and testing phases.
• Help the Product Manager identify and manage inter-portfolio or squad dependencies.
• Lead workshops and facilitate analysis and discovery sessions.
• Contribute to the advancement and standardization of effective business and product analysis methods and documentation excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven track record as a Senior Product or Business Analyst, handling complex enterprise projects across diverse environments.
• Preferably experienced as a Technical Analyst within FinTech, Tier 1 or 2 ERP vendors, or multiple local government sectors.
• Exceptional writing and documentation capabilities with a focus on precision and clarity across business, product, and technical contexts.
• Well-versed in modern software development technologies, Agile methodologies, and practices.
• Deep understanding of information architecture and system knowledge design.
• Adept at modeling and solving complex problems with consideration of business impacts.
• Skilled in deconstructing large, vague issues into actionable solutions.
• Strong grasp of data structures and models; able to articulate SQL relationships and express data through JSON or XML.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of steering decision-making across varied stakeholders including executives.
• Commercial awareness focused on maximizing business and customer value.
• Practical experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence in prior roles.
