Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant for a 12-month fixed-term engagement. This role demands hands-on expertise with IAM frameworks, tools, and processes, working on mission-critical systems to enhance security and access governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain comprehensive IAM processes such as user onboarding, transfers, exit provisioning, and regular access validation.
- Develop and manage role-based access control (RBAC) structures and authorization matrices across enterprise applications.
- Implement and monitor segregation of duties (SoD) controls to detect and resolve potential conflicts.
- Administer Access Management platforms, ensuring optimal configuration, support, and maintenance.
- Enforce privileged access management (PAM) policies across vital infrastructure and systems.
- Perform frequent security profile audits and access reviews to identify abnormalities and drive corrective measures promptly.
- Serve as the technical liaison to system and application owners for resolving identity and access challenges.
- Establish and promote security baseline standards and best practices throughout all identity domains.
- Lead strategic IAM process enhancements by leveraging automation and technology to reduce risks and increase efficiency.
- Manage IAM tool capacity, including license tracking and usage optimization.
- Generate detailed compliance and governance reports relating to identity standards and access controls.
- Support adherence to legal and regulatory mandates through technically sound IAM controls and documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technology and business units to align IAM initiatives with organizational security goals.
Experience and Knowledge
- Over 7 years of practical experience in complex IAM environments.
- Extensive knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) tools and controls.
- Expertise in RBAC, access governance frameworks, and authorization matrix development.
- Proven track record in managing segregation of duties within enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Change Management and ITIL methodologies in large-scale IT settings.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to IAM.
- Experience managing vendors and licenses for IAM technologies.

- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving competencies with an independent approach to challenges.
- Capability to design IAM solutions aligned to security and business risk considerations.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Attention to detail combined with effective planning and prioritization aptitude.
- A commitment to security best practices and ongoing improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Information Security, or an equivalent field, or demonstrated relevant experience.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
- Desirable Microsoft certifications including SC-300, AZ-500, SC-200, or similar.
