Role Overview

The Senior PMO & Business Transformation position serves as the CEO's strategic partner, tasked with converting the organization's vision into actionable and measurable execution plans across all departments. This role ensures cross-functional cooperation and accountability to strategic objectives, functioning at the convergence of strategy formulation and operational delivery. Key responsibilities span enterprise-wide project and program management, overseeing agile delivery governance, spearheading business transformation initiatives, integrating AI-driven process enhancements, and managing crucial strategic projects as assigned by the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the CEO's chief operational collaborator, transforming strategic goals into defined plans with assigned responsibilities and schedules.
• Develop and lead the company’s PMO function, instituting standards, governance, and procedural frameworks.
• Oversee the portfolio management of all ongoing initiatives, identifying dependencies, potential risks, and resource conflicts.
• Manage the Agile framework by authoring and maintaining the company’s Agile Playbook, supervising Scrum Masters and tracking sprint metrics.
• Drive business process improvement programs across various departments including technology, product, operations, customer success, HR, and finance.
• Champion the integration and adoption of AI-powered tools within PMO and operational workflows.
• Ensure stringent quality assurance and risk management practices, including defect tracking and release readiness oversight.
• Administer Jira system configuration, design workflows, and manage integrations with collaboration software such as Slack, GitHub, and Notion.
• Manage and mentor Scrum Masters along with the PMO Coordinator, facilitating their professional growth.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive leadership experience in senior PMO roles, project management, or operations spanning multiple functions.
• Proven achievements in leading business transformation and agile methodology adoption in technology-focused companies.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
• Solid experience in managing and developing teams of delivery professionals and project coordinators.
• Highly skilled in Jira administration and configuration across various project management types.
• Familiarity with AI tools applicable to project and workflow enhancement.
• Culturally sensitive and capable of working effectively with diverse and geographically spread teams.
• Background in consulting or advisory roles is a plus.
