About the Role
This position is dedicated to UAE Nationals holding the Family Book as part of the Emiratization initiative. The role supports the HR Operations Manager in ensuring efficient HR processes, upholding governance, and ensuring regulatory compliance. It provides vital support to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to maintain accurate employee-related processes and adherence to laws, enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the principal point of contact for HR operations regarding employee lifecycle events, collaborating closely with HRBPs to ensure accurate system updates and documentation.
- Maintain the integrity of HRMS data by verifying all HRBP-approved changes, ensuring a clear audit trail and effective control mechanisms.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees including managing documentation, communications, and timely issuance of access cards, required equipment, and workspace allocation.
- Oversee visa processes, work permit management, and updates to medical and life insurance; reconcile leave and attendance records by interfacing with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Execute HR administrative duties such as processing insurance documentation, managing purchase requisitions and orders, attendance reporting, and procurement for new hires.
- Administer employee exit procedures including asset collection, processing of labor and visa cancellations, pension enrollment, and updating records.
- Provide timely issuance of salary certificates, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), and employment certificates; support various HR initiatives and handle additional administrative tasks swiftly and effectively.
- Coach and mentor HR Officers; perform self-audits to identify compliance risks and interpret UAE Labor Law to facilitate practical application within the organization.
- Generate and maintain HR dashboards; analyze critical metrics such as employee turnover, absenteeism, hiring costs, and engagement levels to advise on data-driven HR strategic actions.
- Ensure all HR practices align with UAE Labor Law as well as regulatory bodies requirements including CBUAE, DFSA, and VARA; assist in inspections and audits, maintaining comprehensive documentation for regulatory submissions.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, preferably in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Possession of an HR certification is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in HR, with preference given to candidates with banking sector exposure.
- Thorough understanding of UAE Labor Law and government relations best practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HRMS data management, attendance oversight, HR administration, and analytical reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer-focused and collaborative approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and capability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.
