About the Role

Hilal Foods, a well-established and respected food brand in Pakistan, is currently seeking a skilled Senior Officer – Legal to join their Legal department based at the Head Office in Karachi. This position involves supporting the company’s legal operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and handling various legal affairs organization-wide.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Law (LLB or LLM) from an accredited university.
• 2 to 3 years of total relevant experience, with a minimum of 1 year spent in a corporate legal setting.
• Experience within FMCG or manufacturing sectors is considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and scrutinize contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Oversee Intellectual Property-related tasks, including registration and protection.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage SECP filings and assist the Company Secretary as required.
• Perform legal research and furnish advisory guidance to internal teams.
• Handle legal disputes, litigation processes, and assist in their resolution.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors and internal departments effectively.
• Identify potential legal risks and suggest preventative measures.
• Maintain organized legal records and ensure preparedness for audits.
