Overview
Blackpool Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic, located in Cork City, is seeking a seasoned Senior Chartered Physiotherapist to join their thriving private practice. With over 16 years of excellence, the clinic is well-established with strong referral linkages to GPs, consultants, sports clubs, and the local community, providing a consistent and diverse range of patient cases. Our workplace atmosphere is welcoming, busy, and nurturing.
Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will become part of a team comprising six physiotherapists and three administrative staff members. Work takes place in dedicated treatment rooms, a reformer Pilates studio, and a fully equipped gym. The main duties involve:
- Consulting on a variety of musculoskeletal conditions
- Managing post-operative rehabilitation cases
- Addressing rheumatology and spinal issues
- Treating orthopaedic and complex acute/chronic lower limb injuries
- Supporting women's health concerns, including ante- and post-natal care
- Tackling occupational injuries
- Handling sports injury treatment ranging from casual to competitive athletes
Additional responsibilities include comprehensive room-based assessments, collaborating with a skilled clinical team for peer support, and opportunities to conduct Pilates classes if desired. Clinicians also have access to a personal training gym for client work, supported by a dedicated administrative reception team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Requirements
- At least three years of experience specializing in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Registration with CORU is mandatory
- Membership or eligibility for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP)
