  • Participate in ongoing service evaluation and contribute to improvements.
  • Engage in clinical research and promote evidence-based practices where feasible.
  • Provide expert education and guidance to patients, their families, and colleagues regarding relevant health conditions.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, ensure patient safety, and uphold clinical governance protocols.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must be registered with Coru and ISCP and possess a degree in physiotherapy. Experience in rheumatology, musculoskeletal, or spinal physiotherapy is required, with pediatric experience preferred. Qualifications and Skills

  • Essential: Physiotherapy degree, Coru and ISCP registration.
  • Desirable: Training in PSSE methods, postgraduate qualifications in relevant areas.

  • Ability to identify and respond to adverse clinical signs, communicate complex information clearly, manage time efficiently, and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, IT proficiency.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, detailed assessment, and treatment skills for complex musculoskeletal and orthopedic issues.
  • Capability to diagnose complex conditions, undertake clinical audits and research, and deliver training and presentations.

Personal Attributes

  • Calm and focused demeanor with excellent concentration.
  • Self-motivated with a clear understanding and dedication to the role.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing work environments.
  • Enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and participating in team training.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
