Role Overview
The Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst, ideally based in Austin, TX or Memphis, TN, will support acquisition-related activities across the deal lifecycle. The role involves coordinating tasks, reviewing financial data, building analyses, and assisting other members of the M&A team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, review, and structure incoming acquisition materials.
- Build pro forma models and business cases for prospective acquisitions.
- Support the drafting of term sheets and cover letters.
- Carry out and help manage due diligence work.
- Use AI-enabled tools and automation to streamline workflows, improve precision, and strengthen the quality of insights.
- Analyze how acquired companies’ financial results compare with pro forma assumptions and budget.
- Prepare analyses, forecasts, reports, and presentation materials.
- Compile supporting data for working capital calculations and present the results.
- Contribute to special projects as needed.
- Handle administrative coordination such as scanning, data entry, scheduling calls, and arranging travel or meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in place of the degree.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Experience
- 3 or more years in public accounting, industry accounting/finance, or banking with company valuation exposure.

- Strong analytical ability to interpret financial information and statistics.
- Clear verbal and written communication for presentations to the M&A team, sellers, and their accounting and legal advisors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects.
- Proficiency with Windows-based office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfort working on complex problems that require judgment, data evaluation, and solution selection.
- Experience networking with senior internal and external stakeholders in the area of expertise.
