Role overview
A global pharmaceutical company with a strong focus on oncology is hiring a Senior Medical Science Liaison for a field-based position in Germany. The organisation is expanding its team and is looking for someone with solid experience supporting the launch of new medicines into the market.
What the role involves
- Serving as a medical liaison in the field for oncology-related activities across Germany.
- Supporting product launch activities for new therapies entering the market.
- Building and managing interactions with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Planning and running advisory boards and round-table discussions.
- Gathering scientific and market insights from external stakeholders and sharing them with the Medical Director.
- Contributing to real-world evidence (RWE) study activities.
Experience and background needed
- At least 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
- Prior oncology exposure is required; experience in lung cancer is an advantage.
- Strong track record in organising advisory boards and round tables.
- Experience engaging with KOLs and translating field insights into actionable feedback.
- Hands-on experience with RWE studies.
- Good understanding of local and regional codes of practice.
- Fluency in both German and English.
