About the Role
Supercell, known for creating immersive games enjoyed globally, is searching for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts across the EMEA region. This role focuses especially on the DACH markets and demands skilled campaign execution and strong cross-team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Supercell’s marketing campaigns, activations, and initiatives within EMEA.
- Convert regional marketing strategies into detailed and effective go-to-market plans.
- Drive campaign execution across digital, social, influencer, and partnership channels.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and project scopes to guarantee punctual and high-standard delivery.
- Collaborate closely with local agencies, internal game teams, marketing strategists, and creative teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Coordinate with external creators, agencies, and partners for integrated campaign delivery.
- Supervise production for non-owned channels, events, and activations, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness and player engagement; communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Constantly enhance execution quality by leveraging learnings and proposing improvements for future projects.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience running marketing campaigns in EMEA, especially DACH, France, and the UK, preferably within gaming, entertainment, or consumer brands.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DACH media landscape, cultural nuances, and gamer behaviors.
- Hands-on involvement with digital and social marketing, influencer collaborations, and creator partnerships.
- Acquaintance with wider media platforms such as TV, CTV, audio, and outdoor advertising.
- Solid project management skills, adept at handling complex timelines and budgets.
- Experience working with international teams spread across different time zones.
- Excellent communication abilities combined with meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexible and proactive mindset suited to dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in working on live games or live service products.
- Familiarity with Supercell’s portfolio or a passion for mobile and competitive gaming.
- Demonstrated expertise managing campaigns across the wider EMEA region.
Work Location and Travel
This is a remote role based in Berlin, Germany. The position involves regular collaboration with colleagues in Helsinki and London and anticipates frequent travel to Helsinki and occasional international trips.
Success Milestones
- Within the first few months, confidently execute campaigns aligned with global strategy while establishing strong inter-team relationships and ensuring smooth campaign delivery.
- In 6 to 12 months, achieve measurable success reflected in enhanced awareness, engagement, and player growth, delivering campaigns that resonate locally and uphold consistent quality standards.
