Job description
Role overview
JSHealth Vitamins is a science-led wellness brand focused on creating targeted formulas that support its community’s wellbeing. The business is expanding quickly and is digitally driven, with operations across Australia, the US, the UK, and Europe. A new long-term opportunity has opened up as the current Head of Marketing takes maternity leave, and the company is looking for a senior marketing leader who can grow with the organisation beyond a temporary cover arrangement.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and offers the chance to help shape the marketing function for the long run.
About the position
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the marketing function across Australia, the UK, and Europe from the outset. The role covers trade marketing strategy, D2C campaign delivery, new product launch leadership, and creative and brand direction. You will also manage a team of four direct reports and act as a key link between global strategy and local market execution, ensuring alignment, strong stakeholder communication, and high-quality campaign delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Set and oversee the annual marketing strategy and planning process for AU, UK, and EU, ensuring clear direction, stakeholder alignment, and disciplined execution.
- Manage trade and retail marketing across the region, including campaign rollout, compliance requirements, and major activities such as BVOD and large-scale events.
- Lead D2C growth activity through a strong promotional calendar, multi-region lifecycle marketing, and always-on content, while coordinating both local and global campaign assets.
- Drive NPD launches and associated campaigns end-to-end across the assigned markets, from positioning and planning through stakeholder coordination, asset review, and launch readiness.
- Provide creative and brand guidance to the team, supporting copywriters and designers to produce consistent, high-quality work for AU, UK, and EU.
- Work with the Retention team to shape LTV and subscription initiatives, contribute to a quarterly roadmap, and assess performance outcomes.
- Own marketing reporting and budget control, including weekly and monthly performance reviews, quarterly budget planning with Finance, and post-campaign analysis.
- Lead, coach, and support four direct reports while maintaining influence across the wider marketing team and senior stakeholders, including the Founders.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a seasoned marketing leader with broad multi-region experience and strong commercial judgement. The right person will be comfortable balancing strategy, execution, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of marketing experience, including 3 or more years in a senior leadership role within eCommerce, wellness, beauty, or consumer goods.
- A demonstrated history of leading cross-functional teams across multiple regions and linking global strategy with local implementation.
- Strong expertise in digital-first and DTC marketing, covering growth, retention, creative, and content.
- Solid commercial understanding with hands-on experience in budget ownership, reporting, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with the capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-output setting.
- A people-centred leadership style with the ability to build trust, develop talent, and communicate effectively across all levels.
Additional information
This is a permanent full-time role. The company is seeking a senior leader who wants to contribute to a long-term build rather than a short-term cover arrangement.
Application information
Interested candidates should send a CV and a short cover note explaining their fit for the role to payroll@jessicasepel.com.
