Role Overview

The Senior Managing Consultant in Services Business Development will spearhead revenue generation efforts within the UAE region. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with Mastercard account teams and clients to ensure seamless delivery of solutions globally. The position demands an agile mindset focused on developing scalable services in areas such as payments consulting, loyalty programs, risk information management, and experimental approaches for commerce and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional sales strategy and oversee all business development activities tied directly to revenue goals.
  • Achieve demanding sales targets and grow business footprint.
  • Operate as a hands-on leader, including extensive travel to support sales and mentor the team.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with senior-level clients, including C-suite executives.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and influence decision-making in large-scale deals using strong communication skills.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to influence stakeholders internally and externally with data-driven insights.
  • Represent Mastercard Services as a trusted advisor to top-tier clients.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align services with strategic goals and translate these into actionable plans.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a team focused on maximizing revenue and market share for each client’s business opportunities.
  • Work closely with product, advisory, consulting, and finance teams to ensure alignment of customer needs with product innovation and project delivery.
  • Structure complex projects through hypothesis-driven frameworks for clarity and success.

Candidate Profile

  • In-depth knowledge of Mastercard Advisors’ value propositions and ability to execute within a defined territory.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with the ability to cultivate senior client relationships founded on empathy, leadership, and expertise.
  • Consulting background and experience in data-driven solution selling preferred.
  • Extensive networking skills and influence among diverse stakeholders to stimulate revenue growth.
  • Proven experience managing complex sales and strategic accounts, especially in the financial services sector with a preference for payments industry exposure.
  • Track record of successful account management and conflict resolution.
  • Experience with revenue and P&L management.
  • Strategic goal setting, planning, and succession planning capabilities.
  • High-level negotiation skills essential for securing major deals internally and externally.

  • Adhere strictly to Mastercard’s security policies to protect organizational assets, information, and networks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
  • Promptly report any suspected security breaches or violations.
  • Complete all required security trainings periodically as per company guidelines.
