Role Overview

As the Head of Procurement and Purchasing, you will oversee the purchasing and procurement activities critical to our manufacturing operations. Your decisions will directly influence operational efficiency and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure goods from both local and international suppliers to meet manufacturing needs.
• Plan procurement schedules utilizing MRP systems and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Request and review quotations, and negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and purchase agreements.
• Monitor order statuses through to delivery completion.
• Maintain accurate procurement and inventory data within the ERP system.
• Manage inventory levels proactively to avoid shortages or surpluses.
• Coordinate logistics aspects including imports, transportation carriers, and customs brokerage.
• Establish and nurture strong partnerships with suppliers.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years' experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, or similar platforms.
• Proficient knowledge of MRP, inventory control, and procurement principles.
• Excellent multitasking ability and prioritization skills to handle various projects concurrently.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluency in both French and English is required.
