About The Role
As a Strategic Planning and Foresight Development (SPFD) officer, your primary task is to design, implement, and monitor processes and workflows that ensure our strategies effectively fulfill MCCY's mission to cultivate social capital, promote the Singapore Spirit, and prepare MCCY and its family agencies (MUIS, NAC, NHB, NYC, PA & SportSG) for future challenges.
You will collaborate extensively with colleagues across the MCCY Family, public service, and external partners to foster alignment and a unified focus toward key strategic and transformation objectives. Engagement with senior leaders within the MCCY community will also be an important part of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and plans to harmonize the strategic priorities of the MCCY Family.
- Effectively communicate transformation plans and strategies to internal and external stakeholders to facilitate coordinated efforts and achieve collective goals.
- Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of strategies and plans, focusing on impact assessment, governance, and risk management; advise on timely interventions and support change management during implementation phases.
- Leverage data-driven insights to guide the formulation of policies and programs.
- Lead and commission research studies in areas such as drivers of civic participation, behavioral insights, social environment analysis including sentiment analysis, horizon scanning, and trends, as well as fostering innovative and collaborative organizational practices.
- Collaborate with agencies, partners, and MCCY representatives to organize and execute table-top exercises.
