Division Overview
The Healthcare Infrastructure Projects Division is a multidisciplinary team comprising medical planners, architects, engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors, and asset management experts. This team supports the planning, design, and construction of public healthcare infrastructure including regional/community hospitals, specialist centres, polyclinics, and nursing homes to meet future demands.

Job Summary
The role involves supporting the Project Development Team in managing healthcare infrastructure projects that comply with MOH/MOHH's standards related to timelines, budgets, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with various authorities to meet project requirements, including consultation on land allocation and solving key issues.
- Manage approval processes by preparing and submitting all necessary documents punctually.
- Provide project details such as accommodation schedules, timelines, and budget data to secure funding.
- Assist procurement processes involving consultancy services and construction firms, including preparing tender documents, conducting evaluations, and making recommendations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards through effective management of consultants and builders.
- Engage with ministries, authorities, and stakeholders to address project-related matters and ensure smooth milestone achievements.
- Collaborate with consultants and construction teams to optimize design and meet operational requirements.
- Coordinate with healthcare clusters and operators to incorporate user needs.
- Process contract-compliant payments and manage construction stage activities to meet time, cost, quality, and safety goals.
- Manage variation orders, ensuring proper documentation and timely decisions.
- Complete project administrative closures including account finalization.
- Handle multiple tasks and ad-hoc duties such as user acceptance testing and system verification.
- Build sector-specific technical expertise by consolidating lessons learned and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration to streamline processes and develop technical references.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Project Management or related fields.
- Ability to work confidently under pressure.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes for infrastructure projects.
- Strong planning, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 8 to 15 years of relevant experience, preferably with complex project management exposure.
