Overview
An established organisation is looking for a seasoned communications expert to lead its strategic communications division, advancing initiatives that bolster brand presence, enhance stakeholder connections, and uphold the organisation's reputation. This role offers a unique chance to build and guide a growing communications team while collaborating with senior leadership to craft influential communication strategies aligned with long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aimed at boosting brand awareness, reinforcing the organisation's position, and promoting primary business objectives.
- Lead the conceptualization and delivery of strategic communication campaigns to highlight organisational successes, thought leadership, and major programs across diverse communication platforms.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging, enhance cooperation, and ensure unified communication throughout business units and departments.
- Offer strategic advice to senior leaders concerning media relations, reputation management, stakeholder communications, and sensitive matters.
- Supervise the creation of superior content for digital channels, publications, leadership addresses, events, and external outreach efforts.
- Implement editorial oversight and uphold brand guidelines to guarantee uniformity, quality, and integrity in all communication assets and campaigns.
- Administer communication budgets and manage external agencies and creative collaborators to achieve impactful campaigns while maximizing resource efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a growing communications team, cultivating an environment of teamwork, innovation, and ongoing development.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in strategic or corporate communications, including leadership or managerial roles.
- Proven track record in crafting integrated communication strategies, managing organisation-wide campaigns, and engaging senior stakeholders in complex settings.
- Exceptional skills in writing, storytelling, editorial work, and presentations, with expertise in media relations, digital communication, and brand management.
- Strong abilities in project management, stakeholder liaison, and vendor supervision capable of juggling multiple priorities effectively.
- A forward-thinking, cooperative leadership approach complemented by sound judgment, commercial insight, and the capacity to balance strategic planning with operational execution.
