About the Role
This opportunity is with a partner company seeking a Senior Manager for Sales Operations based in Canada. The key objective of this role is to lead sales operations initiatives that enhance operational excellence and support scalable revenue growth within a rapidly expanding SaaS environment. This position demands a strategic operator adept at optimizing sales processes, boosting forecasting accuracy, and facilitating data-driven decisions across the go-to-market teams. Collaboration with diverse departments such as sales, marketing, finance, customer success, product, and revenue operations is integral to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic projects focused on enhancing sales productivity, operational efficiency, increasing revenue, improving win rates, and boosting customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and revenue operations to establish priorities, refine workflows, and implement initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, quota setting, territory planning, and reporting systems to deliver precise sales performance visibility.
- Create and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) that empower data-informed decision-making and reveal improvement areas.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks by implementing scalable solutions to refine sales processes and team productivity.
- Optimize systems, tools, and procedures related to go-to-market activities in partnership with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Support sales enablement by standardizing documentation, workflows, training content, and best operational practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to revenue operations staff while promoting cross-functional collaboration.
- Offer proactive insights and recommendations to leadership for enhancing business outcomes and operational performance.
- Leverage automation and AI technologies to streamline workflows, increase operational efficiency, and expedite service delivery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business operations, or comparable fields, including experience in leadership roles.
- Experienced in navigating organizations through multiple growth phases, ideally in scaling SaaS or technology firms.
- Proven track record of building, optimizing, and scaling go-to-market processes that enhance revenue results.
- Demonstrated skills managing sales operations teams and steering cross-departmental operational projects.
- Deep knowledge of the alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success within a go-to-market framework.
- Ability to architect operational frameworks, improve procedures, and lead organizational transformations.
- Strong analytical capabilities to transform complex data into actionable business insights.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales technology platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools.
- Excellent project management credentials capable of balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities with influence at all organizational levels.
- Experience integrating AI-based tools within daily routines to boost efficiency and execution quality.
