Job Overview

The Senior Manager of Team Member Experience and Engagement at Silver Legacy, Eldorado, and Circus Circus plays a key strategic Human Resources role focused on labor and team member relations, workplace investigations, engagement, compliance, and retention. This position provides guidance to management and employees to nurture an inclusive and engaging workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align daily actions with Caesars’ mission, vision, and values.
  • Manage employee cases promptly and with thoroughness.
  • Support leadership in resolving employment-related inquiries while safeguarding confidentiality.
  • Lead investigations into employee complaints, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, and workplace violence, ensuring timely resolution and legal compliance.
  • Oversee ADA accommodation processes and manage workers’ compensation claims.
  • Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and company culture through engagement activities.
  • Design and execute recognition, engagement, and retention programs enhancing employee experience.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, union agreements, and regulations.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate across departments as a liaison between Human Resources, Operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Advise employees on benefits, compensation, union matters, and corporate environment.
  • Coordinate and implement HR special events.
  • Supervise TMEE Specialists and HR Coordinators, providing training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Set team goals, monitor workloads, and ensure service standards are met.
  • Mentor HR staff and undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Available to work varied shifts with a flexible schedule.
  • Strong background in labor, union relations, and employee relations preferred.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and employment legislation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Capital Management systems such as Workday, Oracle, or UKG.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and program management capabilities.
  • Ability to understand broader business strategy and apply critical thinking in investigations.
  • Highly ethical with confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business field preferred.
  • Professional HR certifications such as PHR or SPHR are advantageous but not required.
  • Minimum five years of progressive HR experience including investigations and leadership, preferably in hospitality, gaming, or casino settings.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Full-time onsite work required.
  • Ability to respond to visual and auditory cues.
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • Able to move around office and property, including lifting up to 30 pounds and physical postures such as bending and kneeling.
  • Comfort with variable office and casino environmental conditions, including temperature, lighting, noise, and smoke.
