Senior Manager - Mobile Private Networks in Communications & Media

Key Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium consultancy teams delivering projects for global clients in telecom and media sectors.
• Drive innovation and transformation initiatives aligned with client goals and process enhancement.
• Contribute to practice development, including tracking metrics, methodology creation, and building knowledge assets like white papers and research.
• Support global sales efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing expert proposals, and leading business development engagements.
• Understand and translate customer requirements into business processes and technical functionality through collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders to implement transformational change aligned with business strategies.

Technical Expertise Required

• Extensive experience in 5G network strategies, business and operating model design, process transformation, and governance programs.
• Ability to evaluate client maturity and define transition roadmaps for private networks.
• Knowledge in identifying, prioritizing, and monetizing use cases for private network deployments across on-premises and cloud solutions.
• Competence in planning, designing, deploying, operating, and monitoring private networks.
• Hands-on involvement with multi-vendor and multi-technology projects.
• In-depth understanding of wireless technologies such as LTE, 5G, WiFi5/6, SD-WAN, and MPLS.
• Familiarity with KPI definitions for private networks and 2G through 5G network architectures including 3GPP, ETSI, and O-RAN frameworks.

Additional Preferred Knowledge

• Awareness of market conditions and competitive landscape within the private networks sector.
• Understanding EPC/5G Core architecture, edge computing, NFV, SDN, and cloud-native applications.
• Insight into network analytics involving AI-enabled service assurance for operational benefits.
• Comprehension of network operations, processes, tools, and operating models.
• Basic knowledge of IT-OT environments including SCADA, PLC, robotic sensors, data collection systems, APIs, and middleware technologies.

Role Expectations & Soft Skills

• Liaise with IT and Operational Technology teams to uphold industry best practices and corporate standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on IT/OT convergence projects.
• Develop business cases and act as functional business analysts, product owners, process or service designers, and scrum masters.
• Define value driver architectures linked to business KPIs and objectives and track outcomes.
• Conduct independent client engagements, translate complex needs, and recommend technical solutions based on gap analyses.
• Lead end-to-end sales origination, solution framing, and project delivery coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any specialization) or equivalent professional qualifications.
• 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in telecommunications and private network domains.
