Role Overview

This role is responsible for leading the full digital flow from investment origination through asset performance, while also overseeing the document intelligence layer that converts contracts, engineering records, and due-diligence materials into organized, decision-ready information. The position combines product ownership and delivery leadership for Masdar’s investment lifecycle and product lifecycle management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

You will be accountable for the full platform ecosystem covering investment planning, engineering design, permitting, tendering, project execution, and both asset and pipeline management. In addition, you will own the enterprise platforms used for document and contract lifecycle management, including legal, engineering document control, and M&A/due-diligence repositories.

You will define and maintain a unified roadmap that aligns business priorities with the investment lifecycle and its supporting documentation, ensuring they operate as one connected digital thread. This includes maintaining compliance, traceability, and governance across transactional platforms and document assets.

The role also requires leading AI-enabled document processes such as data ingestion, extraction of financial and legal details, normalization, classification, summarization, and reasoning across both structured and unstructured content. You will support human-in-the-loop review and agent-to-agent orchestration across enterprise systems, while working with architecture, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure proper identity controls and operational guardrails as these workflows scale.

Additional responsibilities include enabling portfolio visibility, capital allocation insight, and scenario modeling; supporting M&A due diligence, capital planning, approvals, project and construction tracking, and asset/portfolio performance reporting; and connecting document evidence directly to capital decisions through close partnership with Finance, Investment, and M&A teams.

You will integrate core systems such as SAP, Oracle, procurement tools, asset management platforms, document management systems, and EPC/O&M sources, while building an enterprise knowledge layer that provides a single view from origination through operations. Delivery leadership includes guiding Agile execution with system integrators and SaaS vendors, managing structured releases and continuous improvement, and producing operational and portfolio reporting through SaaS tooling and Power BI in partnership with AI Products & Analytics Platforms. Vendor oversight, SLA/KPI management, and cost discipline across platform and AI spend are also part of the mandate.

Requirements

The position calls for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Data/AI, Finance, or a related discipline. Masdar’s preferred certifications were referenced as needing confirmation.

Ideal candidates should bring 14–18+ years of experience in enterprise systems and product/platform ownership, along with demonstrated delivery of PLM and project-focused ERP platforms such as IFS Cloud / IFS Project Lifecycle, SAP S/4HANA Projects, Oracle Projects / Primavera across design, build, integration, go-live, and optimization phases.

Role-specific experience should include at least 6 years in control-based document ecosystems such as enterprise SharePoint or Microsoft Syntex, plus 5+ years delivering enterprise document transformation programs. Strong practical experience in AI-driven document workflows and agent-based orchestration is expected, including solutions built with Azure OpenAI, Copilot, or multi-agent frameworks, along with the identity, audit, and guardrail rigor required for financially sensitive AI environments.

Knowledge of the investment lifecycle, M&A processes, capital project development and construction lifecycles, financial planning, and portfolio reporting is important. The role also requires an API-first or composable architecture mindset, ERP integration across finance, procurement, and engineering, and experience with SaaS-based reporting and Power BI. Success in outsourced or partner-led delivery and the ability to influence stakeholders across Investment, Finance, M&A, Development, and functional teams are also key. Experience in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, or investment platform environments is preferred.
