Role overview

The APAC Marketing Finance & Strategy team is hiring a Senior Manager in Singapore. This person will act as a business partner for the APAC Marketing organization, owning financial planning and helping shape strategic decisions through clear analysis and practical insights. Marketing leadership depends on the team for reliable expense forecasts and guidance on key business choices.

The role reports to the head of APAC FP&A and works closely with the global Marketing Finance & Strategy leader and team. Success in this position calls for strong ownership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate across multiple functions and stakeholders. The role also involves handling complex workstreams and building trusted relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders in Marketing and PR to turn strategic plans into a multi-year operating financial roadmap.
  • Serve as a financial and strategic advisor to Marketing and PR leaders across several APAC markets.
  • Monitor whether financial plans are aligned with the intended strategy and flag opportunities for improvement.
  • Build short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts for Marketing and PR expenses and headcount across APAC countries.
  • Prepare high-impact presentations that explain analysis clearly and support leadership decisions.
  • Develop expertise in reporting and planning systems, especially Anaplan, while helping automate processes and improve tools.
  • Forecast overhead expenses, including workforce models based on activity and coordination with HR and Talent on staffing needs.
  • Lead and develop the Marketing Finance & Strategy team so it delivers on team goals and responsibilities.
  • Be prepared for occasional travel to other offices around the world.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance and strategy; background in media, entertainment, or marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
  • Deep experience in both quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, with a track record of turning analysis into practical recommendations.
  • Experience supporting business leaders with strategy development and execution.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and strong financial modeling skills.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders or presenting analytical findings to executive-level audiences.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and policies is an advantage.
  • Self-driven, disciplined, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Demonstrates high standards of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Four-year degree in a relevant subject such as Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics; MBA is a plus.
