Work Environment

Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Field & Influence Marketing targets a selective group of senior bank and credit union decision-makers, emphasizing trust, proof, and peer validation over broad-volume marketing. This role oversees influencer relations, PR, account-based marketing to high-value prospects, customer advocacy, and product messaging. It demands flexibility to work across marketing channels, reporting to the Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer and supervising the Events Manager to coordinate peer-driven events.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain regular engagement with analysts and consultants influential to bank and credit union boards.
- Manage PR and industry press relations to bolster credible presence in key trade media.
- Design and execute marketing campaigns centered on a named-target account list aligned with sales priorities.
- Develop customer and peer advocacy initiatives connecting prospective CEOs with current users.
- Craft risk-sensitive platform narratives in collaboration with Product leadership directed at board-level audiences.
- Oversee marketing technology stack selection and maintenance optimized for named-account engagement.
- Lead budget management, agency coordination, marketing operations, and development of the Events Manager.
- Incorporate AI-driven tools into marketing strategy and execution to enhance insights, creative testing, and competitive intelligence.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years in B2B marketing within regulated or relationship-driven industries such as fintech, banking tech, or enterprise SaaS.
- Proven experience managing analyst and industry press relationships.
- Strong background in account-based marketing focusing on specific named targets.
- Adaptable marketing generalist comfortable shifting focus to meet evolving strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience developing executive-level content.
- Experience with marketing technology platforms including CRM, ABM, and communication tools.
- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, and Executive teams.
- Additional preference for experience marketing to financial services executives and familiarity with AI tools.
- Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
Salary and Benefits
- Annual base salary between $110,000 and $125,000.
