Job description
Role Purpose and Contribution
Lead the overall communications strategy for the Southeast Asia (SEA) business as a trusted advisor to senior management, shaping the organization’s reputation and enhancing internal cohesion. Drive impactful storytelling across platforms to position the business as a cluster leader.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication approach aligned with business goals and culture.
- Oversee communications for major sports events, sponsorships, campaigns, product launches, quarterly updates, employee meetings, and HR and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain consistent, engaging messaging across all internal communication channels.
- Advise SVP General Manager and Senior Leadership Team on strategic communication, branding, and reputation management.
- Handle complex communication issues ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Contribute to Emerging Markets (EM) communication strategies and lead regional projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, brands, HR, and other key parties to align messaging.
- Create compelling business narratives reflecting strategy, values, and performance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Enhance leadership visibility through strategic messaging and content creation.
- Manage external corporate communications to boost brand and corporate profile.
- Build and leverage media relationships for PR, thought leadership, and reputation initiatives.
- Support corporate relations with governments, partners, and industry bodies ensuring message consistency.
- Lead crisis and issues communication preparedness and response with the EM Corporate Communications Director.
- Develop protocols to manage reputational risks and sensitive topics effectively.
- Ensure timely and transparent communications during impactful situations.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related discipline
- 10–12 years progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or brand communications with minimum 5 years in management
- Proven track record advising senior leaders and managing high-level stakeholders
- Experience within multinational or matrixed firms preferred
- Knowledge of South East Asian cultures and social media dynamics advantageous
- Demonstrated success in crisis communications and reputational risk control
