Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager for Brand Management and Public Relations at Acceldata to steer the company's market image and lead earned-media initiatives promoting our brand story. This position entails two interrelated areas:

  • Managing the brand by shaping narratives, messaging, and ensuring consistent brand representation globally.
  • Overseeing public relations efforts, collaborating with PR agencies, organizing communication schedules, and executing media programs across different regions.

The goal is to unify the brand story in all regions, ensure our category's points of view are adopted in the market, and succeed in capturing a larger share of market voice than competitors.

Brand Management Responsibilities

  • Own and define Acceldata's market positioning by crafting comprehensive brand narratives, messaging frameworks, and value propositions.
  • Maintain and update messaging architectures and talking points to guarantee uniform brand expression through all regions, channels, and campaigns.
  • Champion the category narrative to promote wider adoption, track recognition among analysts, media, and competitors, and feed insights into messaging adjustments.
  • Oversee visual and verbal brand identity, including voice, tone, logo usage, and design standards, ensuring consistent application across internal teams, agencies, and partners.
  • Develop and sustain methodologies to measure brand visibility and perception across markets.
  • Compare brand presence against competitors and evaluate alignment with targeted market viewpoints; report on share of voice, sentiment, message reinforcement, and coverage quality regularly, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Act as the brand custodian by reviewing external content for compliance and resolving inconsistencies across teams and regions.

Public Relations Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate earned-media and communications strategies that strengthen brand visibility and narrative market presence.
  • Manage PR agencies across different regions (North America, EMEA, India), setting priorities, briefing agencies, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring accountability to KPIs.
  • Create and maintain a rolling communications calendar to provide advance insight on key stories, campaigns, and launches for leadership and stakeholders; sequence announcements to optimize momentum.
  • Collaborate with agencies to produce press releases, media pitches, bylines, op-eds, and award entries, preparing spokespeople with talking points and Q&A materials.
  • Ensure PR activities are globally consistent yet locally adapted to respective regions.
  • Monitor social and other media for relevant news and opportunities, identifying angles and sharing them with PR partners for timely action.

Success Measures

  • A unified and consistent brand narrative executed globally across all regions.
  • Recognition and adoption of Acceldata's category narrative and perspectives by media, analysts, and competitors.
  • Incremental growth in share of voice and sentiment improvements relative to competitors.
  • A continuous, well-planned distribution of quality earned media in priority markets.
  • Clear understanding and strict adherence to brand standards by internal teams, agencies, and partners.

Qualifications

  • More than six years of experience in brand management, public relations, or corporate communications within B2B technology sectors such as enterprise software, data, or AI.
  • Proven track record managing brand narrative, messaging, and brand standards effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing external PR agencies, including multi-regional teams.
  • Strong history of securing earned media coverage and expanding share of voice.
  • Excellent writing abilities with sound editorial judgment and confidence communicating with executives.
  • Competence in data analysis for defining and reporting brand and communication success metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data platforms, observability technologies, or agentic AI fields.
  • Background in supporting category creation or category-narrative initiatives.
  • Existing networks within top-tier technology media outlets.
