Position Overview

The PR, Partnerships & Events Manager will lead efforts to enhance Savor Beauty's visibility through media outreach, creator and affiliate partnerships, community engagement events, brand collaborations, and experiential marketing activations. Reporting to the Founder, this proactive role involves crafting compelling story angles, engaging media contacts, securing placements, forging relationships with editors and creators, and managing impactful events that introduce the brand to wider audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PR and communication strategies for Savor Beauty.
• Pitch stories related to beauty, wellness, lifestyle, business, and the founder to a variety of media outlets including journalists, podcast hosts, and newsletters.
• Obtain earned media placements, podcast features, speaking roles, and thought leadership opportunities.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with media professionals and freelance writers.
• Create press materials such as press releases, media pitches, founder biographies, and media kits.
• Formulate engaging narratives focused on Korean beauty heritage, founder's story, product innovations, spa services, and new launch events.
• Monitor market trends and identify timely PR opportunities to keep the brand relevant.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with creators, affiliates, wellness experts, complementary brands, and local communities.
• Execute co-marketing and product collaboration campaigns, and foster affiliate and creator partnerships aligned with brand audiences.
• Represent Savor Beauty in wellness, beauty, and entrepreneurial networks.
• Plan and coordinate media and community events, workshops, launches, and experiential branding activations.
• Strategize PR campaigns connected to product launches, spa and retail openings, and market expansions.
• Manage guest invitations and attendance, ensuring events generate significant media coverage and partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Affiliate, Social Media, Ecommerce, Spa, and Education teams to synchronize promotions and maximize campaign impact.
• Maintain detailed tracking and weekly reporting of media, creator, affiliate, partnership, and event activities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7+ years of demonstrated experience in public relations, communications, partnerships, events, or brand marketing within beauty and wellness consumer sectors.
• Proven ability to secure earned media and grow brand recognition.
• Preferably have established relationships with beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or business media outlets.
• Experienced in developing and managing creator, affiliate, and brand partnerships.
• Strong background in planning and executing media, community, or brand-centered events.
• Excellent storytelling, writing, pitching, and relationship management skills.
• Highly organized with strong project management capabilities and reliable execution.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setup working closely with the Founder.
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools like Muck Rack or Cision is advantageous.

Success Indicators

• Within the first 90 days, build a robust pipeline of media contacts, community partners, and collaborative brands.
• Secure significant press, podcast appearances, and speaking engagements.
• Deliver impactful PR support for product launches and events.
• Establish and cultivate new affiliate, creator, and community partnerships.
• Create a sustainable outreach system yielding consistent brand exposure.
