This role involves serving as a Senior Lease Administrator focused on lease management and legal expertise within the EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) ES Finance team. The successful candidate will administer leases and subleases, manage rent and invoice processes, and provide vital support to internal stakeholders, ensuring meticulous compliance and documentation accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage EY’s portfolio of leases and subleases, covering all office premises.
- Perform detailed lease abstraction with an emphasis on legal accuracy, documenting key terms and conditions clearly.
- Oversee rent payment processing and sublease invoicing, maintaining timely and precise financial tracking and reports.
- Maintain and improve the real estate database using IWMS Tririga, ensuring all property data is accurate and up to date.
- Standardize lease abstraction processes and conduct quality reviews on external vendor templates.
- Coordinate with external vendors to guarantee consistent process adherence and quality delivery.
- Generate regular reports on lease abstraction progress, addressing any delays or quality issues.
- Provide updates and analytics on abstraction templates and workflows to Area and Regional Real Estate leadership.
- Act as a liaison and point of contact for Real Estate leaders regarding lease administration queries and activities.
- Develop and maintain lease reporting and data analytics to support stakeholder decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance and innovate lease administration workflows.
- Identify and execute process improvements, streamlining and automating tasks where possible.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years’ experience in lease administration; legal expertise or strong understanding of lease agreements is preferred.
- Familiarity with real estate management software including IWMS Tririga and Mercury SAP is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Self-starter attitude with a problem-solving mindset and dedication to quality outcomes.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as being an effective team collaborator.
- Technical proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Tririga, Sharepoint; knowledge of Power BI and SQL is a plus.
