Job description
Overview
This position requires managing the daily operations of the HR School Fees section in accordance with Qatar Airways’ internal policies and procedures. The role involves providing prompt and accurate services related to school fees reimbursement for employees across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures incorporating internal controls and governance measures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with organizational policies for invoice validations.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure timely processing of employee school fees claims during each monthly payroll cycle.
- Conduct thorough audit checks on staff records to verify adherence to employee contracts.
- Reconcile submitted invoices against school fee claims and validate them in line with company guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with HR Payroll to manage monthly school fees reimbursements and resolve discrepancies on a recurring basis.
- Establish and maintain service standards that demonstrate efficiency within the school fee processing workflow.
- Generate monthly reports tracking financial transactions processed and service performance metrics of the school fees section.
- Supervise the verification databases for schools located in Doha and abroad to ensure up-to-date and accurate records.
- Review and approve exceptional school fee claims monthly, maintaining a documented approval list within the section's database.
- Coordinate with the Remuneration and Policies team to clarify policies related to school fee reimbursement eligibility, distinguishing reimbursable and non-reimbursable components in alignment with guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School diploma, vocational certificate, diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 4 years of related professional experience.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong financial analytical capabilities.
- Preferred skills include project management support ability and Arabic language proficiency.
