Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior HR Administrator to join the Keelings Farms team based at St. Margaret's, Co. Dublin. This position requires applicants to hold a full driving licence and have access to a car to facilitate commuting to the farm location.

Primary Purpose

The appointed individual will deliver expert support and advice to managers and staff on all HR facets, assisting the Head of People in deploying HR initiatives and contributing to the overall HR strategy for the Farms. This role involves close coordination with the Group HR Department but is primarily office-based at Soft Fruit Farms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the frontline contact for all operational HR inquiries, ensuring excellent service delivery compliant with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Manage employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
  • Carry out investigations into employee grievances and complaints in a manner consistent with legal requirements.
  • Deliver induction programmes for new employees, conduct check-ins, and manage exit interviews.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in compliance with GDPR.
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts, and manage the upkeep of personnel files, including medical certificates, appraisals, and clearances.
  • Collaborate with international agencies and internal teams on staffing needs.
  • Organize internal staff forum meetings and coordinate follow-ups and feedback.
  • Communicate employee lifecycle updates to relevant departments.
  • Administer employee benefits and coordinate occupational health procedures.
  • Implement absence and performance management frameworks and monitor processes across farms.
  • Plan and execute wellbeing activities related to farm staff in partnership with the Operations Manager.
  • Liaise with payroll and planning teams to update employee status changes.
  • Generate and analyze attendance reports including sick leave and probation reviews.
  • Manage resignation acknowledgements, conduct exit interviews, and track outcomes.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum three years experience in a fast-paced HR administrative role.
  • Proven expertise in conducting investigations and managing disciplinary meetings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current Irish employment law.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Legal entitlement to work in Ireland.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational aptitude.

Education

  • HR qualification or progression towards a CIPD recognized qualification.
