About the Role
Join Stella McCartney, a luxury fashion brand renowned for innovation and strong ethical principles. We are seeking a People Administrator to partner with our People Team and assist across the full employee lifecycle for our UK and Italy teams. Reporting directly to the Senior People Partner, this role offers broad exposure to HR functions including employee lifecycle management, recruitment, reporting, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist People Partners to ensure smooth employee experiences across all stages of the employment journey.
- Handle employee documentation such as contracts, references, probation letters, salary adjustments, promotions, family leave records, and exit processing.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records using HRIS software (Workday).
- Generate regular HR reports and analytics to support business decisions and workforce planning.
- Update organisational charts and facilitate organisational restructuring initiatives.
- Provide administrative support during employee relations activities, including meeting preparations and minute-taking.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure excellent employee experiences.
- Support HR compliance by maintaining accurate employee files and meeting legal requirements.
- Assist with recruitment for entry and early-career roles, managing candidate screening, interview scheduling, and recruitment paperwork.
- Contribute to ongoing People projects and wider HR initiatives across the company.
- Support payroll operations by preparing commission and bonus files, issuing P45s and final payslips for departing employees, and addressing routine payroll and benefits queries while escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Liaise with external benefits providers and support benefits administration.
- Assist with legally mandated paperwork for events such as Paris Fashion Week.
- Support the UK Internship and Work Experience programme.
- Manage the global Clothing Allowance process from communication through distribution.
Candidate Profile
- At least one year of relevant experience in a comparable HR or administrative role, ideally with basic payroll understanding.
- Fluent English required; Italian language skills are a plus.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience working with HRIS (preferably Workday) and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of prioritising workload efficiently.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
