Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Define and enforce clear delivery standards across all change activities.
• Monitor the collective performance of portfolio initiatives, proactively identifying issues.
• Serve as an impartial assessor of delivery quality and risk management practices.
• Confirm that delivered outcomes translate into the anticipated organisational benefits.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a large team, establishing performance benchmarks and developing capabilities.
• Provide concise and actionable performance reports to senior leadership.
• Collaborate closely with planning and prioritisation teams to maintain end-to-end standard consistency.

Essential Experience and Skills

• Extensive expertise in change management, transformational projects, or consulting leadership at significant scale.
• Profound understanding of governance, quality assurance, and sound judgement regarding their application.
• Confidence in engaging with senior executives, including respectfully challenging decisions when appropriate.
• Demonstrated success in leading large teams and elevating standards in complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information for executive decision-making.
