Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity & Alternative Investments (Big 4 Recently Qualified)

Position Overview

We are partnering with a premier Private Equity Group based in Dublin to recruit a Senior Fund Accountant for their growing finance department. This role presents a prime opportunity for a recently qualified Big 4 accountant with fund experience eager to advance their career within a dynamic investment setting.

Role Details

The successful candidate will experience diverse responsibilities across Private Equity fund structures, intricate investment vehicles, and cross-border transactions while engaging with senior internal stakeholders.

Key Duties

• Oversee NAV review and reporting for a diverse portfolio of Private Equity and alternative investment funds.
• Prepare and scrutinize monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Engage and coordinate with investment managers, fund administrators, auditors, and other external parties.
• Support processes related to investor reporting and capital transactions.
• Assist in managing year-end audit procedures and preparing financial statements.
• Review fund-related expenses, fee calculations, and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting obligations.
• Drive initiatives to enhance processes and operational effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

• Recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant from a Big 4 firm with 0 to 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Background in funds and asset management is desirable.
• Strong analytical aptitude coupled with robust technical accounting capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
