Role Overview
Avelios is hiring a (Senior) Frontend Engineer (all genders) to shape the next generation of digital hospital interfaces. The position involves working closely with designers, developers, and medical specialists to convert complex clinical processes into clear and intuitive user experiences. You will take responsibility for the frontend stack and help create software that combines strong design with real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the core engineering team to deliver fast, intuitive user interfaces
- Build, test, release, and support scalable frontend services across the product landscape
- Develop software at scale for mission-critical clinical settings
- Use modern technologies to enhance user experience in healthcare environments
- Write secure, efficient code that meets demanding technical expectations
- Iteratively refine performance and usability using customer feedback and product needs
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to keep features clinically relevant and easy to use
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a background in Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent hands-on experience. Strong practical experience with React, TypeScript, or Swift is expected, and coding work such as GitHub contributions is considered an advantage. The role also calls for curiosity, a willingness to learn new tools quickly, a proactive and ownership-driven approach, and fluent English communication.
