Role Overview

In this working student position in frontend engineering, you will become part of the development team and gain practical experience building large, complex software in a mission-critical healthcare environment. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to the digital systems that support clinical work, while learning how to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software with real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the core engineering team on live product features
  • Help design, test, release, and maintain frontend or backend components within Avelios services
  • Build understanding of large-scale clinical software systems and infrastructure
  • Use modern tools and technologies in a healthcare environment with high responsibility
  • Apply secure and efficient software engineering practices in day-to-day work
  • Contribute ideas that improve speed, usability, and overall user experience

Candidate Profile

  • You are currently studying Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar subject
  • You have experience with at least one of the following: Swift, TypeScript, or React
  • Previous coding evidence, such as contributions on GitHub, is considered an advantage
  • You are eager to learn and explore new technologies
  • You approach problems in a practical, solution-driven way and like to get things done
  • You can communicate in German and/or English
