Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is for a partner organization based in Canada, with application handling and follow-up managed by that employer. The role belongs to a prominent Corporate FP&A team that supports enterprise-wide financial planning, analysis, and decision support across revenue and contribution margins. It is a high-visibility position that combines forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and executive storytelling to help leaders make informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment where financial data must be turned into practical recommendations. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to explain performance, identify key drivers, and strengthen how the business understands and uses financial results. The role calls for strong analytical judgment, clear communication, and the ability to connect numbers to strategy.

Key accountabilities

  • Own and continuously improve planning and analysis workflows for revenue and contribution margins, keeping forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans aligned and reliable.
  • Work with senior leaders, FP&A colleagues, analytics partners, and other teams to ensure financial plans reflect business priorities and expected performance.
  • Review financial performance and create concise variance explanations that highlight the main drivers for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute financial input and scenario analysis to target-setting, OKR development, and broader strategic planning initiatives.
  • Enhance financial models, reporting tools, and FP&A processes so they operate more efficiently, accurately, and at scale.
  • Handle ad hoc analysis and special projects that support leadership decisions and changing business needs.
  • Present financial insights in a structured, executive-ready format suitable for senior leadership and board-level audiences.

What the role requires

  • At least 8 years of FP&A experience, including significant work with revenue forecasting and planning cycles.
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining forecasting models for revenue and margins in complex business settings.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical ability, especially using Excel and G-Suite tools.
  • Background in preparing executive-facing reports and narratives for senior leaders, boards, or investor audiences.
  • Ability to turn complex financial information into practical insights, recommendations, and business implications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and effective storytelling.
  • Experience thriving in fast-moving, cross-functional environments with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to link financial outcomes to operational and strategic levers.

Benefits and working environment

  • Competitive annual compensation benchmarked to the Canadian market.
  • Comprehensive coverage for health, dental, and wellness needs.
  • Flexible work options with a remote-friendly setup.
  • Paid leave and holiday programs.
  • Retirement and savings plan choices.
  • Support for professional growth and learning.
  • An inclusive, collaborative, high-performance workplace culture.
  • A chance to shape strategic decisions at an enterprise level.

Application and hiring process

Applications are reviewed on behalf of the partner employer. Candidate matching is supported by automated tools to help identify strong fits against the core role requirements, after which a shortlist is shared with the hiring company. Final decisions, interviews, and any assessments are handled directly by the employer’s internal team.
